So yeah, when you book this trip, you're actually getting quite a bit bundled in — like, you don’t have to stress over the boring stuff. First, you get full ground transport throughout the trip in a comfy car (with AC of course, coz Rwanda sun don’t play sometimes). We’ll pick you up straight from Kigali Airport and drop you off when it’s all done. All your park entry fees are already sorted, including the golden one — the gorilla trekking permit (which is super rare and must be booked early). Accommodation is covered too for all 6 nights, usually nice mid-range lodges or we can tweak it depending on your vibe. You’ll have an experienced guide or driver with you all the way, who lowkey becomes your friend by the end of the week. And yeah, we throw in breakfast daily and a couple of lunches here and there — plus bottled water during drives so you stay fresh.

Now... a few things you gotta handle yourself. Flights into Rwanda aren’t covered in this trip cost, so you’ll need to book your own ticket into Kigali. Travel insurance? Yeah, totally up to you — we highly recommend it though (especially for gorilla trekking days). Tips for guides, porters or trackers aren't included either — it’s not mandatory but kind of expected, and it goes a long way to support the local team. Any snacks, drinks, or souvenirs you wanna grab along the way? That’s all on you (so keep a little cash ready for local markets or those spicy brochettes). yeah for sure. all hotels and lodges have electricity, and most vehicles have charging ports too. just bring a universal adapter (Rwanda uses type C & J plugs — same as most of Europe).

What kind of clothes should I pack?

layers are your best friend! Rwanda’s climate changes depending on where you are — Kigali is warm, Volcanoes is cool, Akagera can be hot. comfy hiking shoes, long pants, a light rain jacket, and something cozy for evenings. oh and don’t forget your hat + sunscreen.
